What is the one thing you can not control on your wedding day……the weather. Usually I don’t like using the “R” word (rain).  As a Atlanta wedding photographer I have shot at many venues through out the Atlanta area such as The Atlanta History Center, The Georgian Terrace, The Fox Theater, Whitlock Inn, Rhodes Hall and Naylor Hall.  The one thing all these places have in common is that they are professionals and they know what to do if it rains on your wedding day.

When I am shooting a wedding I leave a little room for the serendipity or the happy accidents that happen on your wedding day.  Sometimes they make for the best photos.  If not for the rain I would not have this romantic photo.  As a wedding photographer I love to challenge myself.  This photo was basically shot in the dark with a couple of remote flashes.  It was a relatively quick set up for such a dramatic photo.
