There are so many ways to do your wedding.  I recently shot a wedding where the Church was beautiful inside but lacked any locations to shot outside and the reception was in a restaurant with the same problem.  So the bride and I got to together and looked at google maps for a locations in the vicinity of both venues. 
We decided at a park with a covered bridge.

The bride was so great to work with!  As you can see she was comfortable in your dress and location.When everyone is relaxed then everyone can have some fun!!!
