The Atlanta skyline captured by the wedding photographers at www.AtlantaArtisticWeddings.com |
Atlanta wedding photographers, have a unique opprotunity to see many of the most popular wedding venues in the Metro Area “ATL”. The wedding photographers at www.AtlantaArtisticWeddings.com made a great list and I would like to share it with the brides and grooms in the Area.
5 Iconic Atlanta Wedding Venues from AtlantaArtisticWeddings
- Georgia Aquarium
The Georgia Aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in the world. It is, itself, a truly awesome place, and the windows into the under-the-sea worlds make for great photographs in and of themselves. Not surprisingly, they also make stunning backdrops for some spectacular – ethereal and gorgeous – wedding photographs. The venue can be as convenient as an all-inclusive with Wolfgang Puck Catering (they’ll even do the cake!) or you have the flexibility of choosing outside vendors.
- The Fox Theatre
I LOVE the Fox Theatre, so much so that I proposed to my wife there. It definitely has a very special place in my heart. It’s an Atlanta institution – historic, eclectic, and simply gorgeous. They have lots of rooms and spaces to choose from, but just imagine getting married on that stage! It would be epic.
- Atlanta Botanical Gardens
The Atlanta Botanical Gardens are a dream, with multiple outdoor spaces to choose from. You can get married in the Rose Garden, or, if you’d prefer a more woodsy ambiance, they have that too. They also have a skyline view for some incredible post-ceremony photographs.
- Swan House
Located at the Atlanta Historic Society, Swan House is an historic house in the heart of Buckhead and makes a lavish wedding venue. It definitely looks good on camera – it was even used to film scenes from the Hunger Games.
- Fernbank Museum of Natural History
This one’s slightly off the beaten path and a little bit quirky, but I shot a wedding here that was awesome. Who knew you could get married – or just have your reception – next to dinosaurs! There’s one in the Great Hall, which features and soaring glass ceiling and dramatic lighting. Or have dinner in the Star Gallery. This one is definitely not your average wedding venue.
Have another venue I didn’t mention? Mention it in the comments below or shoot me an email! As always, thank you so much for reading the blog!
