Let me introduce you to David Diener at www.AtlantaArtisticWeddings.com.  He has been in the photography business for over 30 years.  He started out in high school shooting artsy photos and concerts that his dad would get him into.  From there he went on to Appalachian State University where he studied commercial design and photography.  He then got a job at a cultural resource firm where he started doing the artifact photography.  He then moved on to large format photography.  There he worked on some of the most prestigious historic properties in the United States.  You can see some of his work at Library of Congress.
