Atlanta Artistic Weddings shoots at Krog Street Tunnel

As a Atlanta wedding photographer I am so blessed.  I work at Atlanta Artistic Weddings and we get to work with some of the best brides.  We like working at the best locations for photography.  This Saturday we set up a photo shoot at Krog Street Tunnel.

I was recently contacted by a student that was in my classes at Emory.  He is a very talented photographer and more than that he is a super nice guy!  He wanted to set up day to shoot.  So this Saturday I did not have a wedding and he was in town.  I hired a model with a wedding dress and I made a map of photo locations. One of my favorite places to shoot is the Krog Street Tunnel.

The Krog Street Tunnel is a land mark in Atlanta.  It is known for the artistic graffiti that just about covers the whole tunnel.  It is a cool place for artist to express their-selves and makes a great back drop for photos.  It has been used in movies and I recently saw where it was used as a back drop on a television show.

We wanted the shoot to have a real urban vibe about it.  So the we had a modern fitted wedding dress.  It had long veil that we used for back lighting to give it some dramatic looks. We did some photos in Inman Park at the end of the tunnel in the street.  We also used the Krog street tunnel and the graffiti as the back drop to give it that “urban bride” feel.  I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did taking them.
