Atlanta wedding photographers at AtlantaArtisticWeddings capture unique reception

As a Atlanta wedding photographer I get to see lots of different kinds of weddings and receptions.  This week was a very unique reception.  It was held at Underground Atlanta in part of the space for the Masquerade.  The weather was even unusual in the since there was still snow on the ground in Atlanta!  All these things combined made for a very unique Atlanta wedding reception.

The first part of the day took place at Payne Corley house in Duluth outside of Atlanta.  The Payne Corley house was right down the road where the bride grew up.  It is a beautiful historic wedding venue with a very talented staff who know how put the guests first.  When I arrived there on Saturday there still was a slight drizzle of snow.  The owners of Payne Corley house got there early through the tough weather to be ready for the bride and the groom.

We took the couple downtown to do the photograph them in the snow.  We had a blast and the couple were so gun ho! We just walked around in the snow and had a blast!!  The bride even walked through the snow in open toed shoe.  She was not going to be deterred.  You can see some of the photos below. The photo is from when we did a first look in front of the historic wedding venue in the snow.

The reception for this wedding was held later on in the night and had a more of almost circus vibe.   When I say circus I mean they had lights and entertainers.  They were close friends with a variety of entertainers in the Atlanta area.  So they had a fire eater outside the venue and a trapeze artist inside of the venue.  The whole experience was so unique and fun!  As you can see in the photos it was a night to remember.

I want to thank the couple for allowing AtlantaArtisticWeddings to capture their big day.  It is such an honor being a wedding photographer in Atlanta.  You get know such wonderful people and capture such a rocking reception!
