These groups are supporting the people displaced by the devastating earth quake that destroyed so many lives there in 2010.  The earth quake took over 200,000 lives and destroyed over a million homes mostly around the capital of Haiti, Port a Prince.  There families were torn apart and left many homeless after the quake.

The groups helped the families relocate. They built small eco villages where the refugees from the earth quake could settle.  They could grow their own food and hopefully become self-sustaining. What the eco villages needed was a school for their villages that is where the Atlanta Church Group came in.  Through the support of donors they were able to build several class rooms, kitchen and dinning hall.  They are making a difference in a difficult part of the world
