The Atlanta Skyline and Rain Make a Beautiful Back Drop to Your Wedding Photography!

Wedding Photography by www.AtlantaArtisticWeddings.com

This week is one for the books.  I recently had the honor of shooting a wedding at the Builtmore Hotel in midtown Atlanta.  It is a historic building with two of the most beautiful ballrooms I have ever seen.  What makes a great venue is the people and the staff could not have been more gracious.   This wedding was for a wedding planners daughter.  I could not have been more honored when she asked me to be their photographer.  When I first meet the daughter I said we were not going to use the “R” word (rain).    As luck would have it the rain started in the morning and continued through out the day.   She did not let it damper her day though!  When it came time for the photography she was a real sport.  It stopped raining right when we got outside.  Usually you don’t think of rain and the night as a good combo for photography but this could not have been better.  She was a real sport and walked in to the damp ground with her wedding dress and I lined them up on the Atlanta skyline. I think the reflection on the wet street and the city lights make for a beautiful photo.  I hope you enjoy the photo as much as I did taking it.
