It’s quite incredible how quickly October came and went. And with it went the warm temperatures, pumpkins, colorful foliage and many wonderful wedding memories. I couldn’t think of a better way to end an eventful, yet rewarding month than with another gorgeous Atlanta wedding.

On Saturday, we had the honor of documenting Jennifer and Jonathan’s lovely fairytale nuptial. Jonathan, a graduate of West Point in New York, had met Jennifer in August of 2014, and the two had quickly become friends. By November of that same year, they had recognized their unique computability with one another and decided to give a relationship a try. For the past several years, the pair crafted an unconditional love and beautiful life together in Brookhaven with their fur babies, MJ and Lulu. Last year, on their three-year anniversary, Jonathan took Jennifer to St. Lucia to celebrate, and underneath a private beach cabana, he popped the question. And the rest was pure bliss.

Besides candid photo opts and layered cake with buttercream icing, of course, one wedding day addition I never grow tired of is the sentimental elements each couple adds. More specifically, those that honor loved ones and incorporate family keepsakes. This particular wedding day was no exception. Instead of opting for a standard wedding gown, Jennifer chose a different approach by altering and wearing her grandmother’s—and later, mother’s—vintage A-line skirt. She matched the priceless piece of wedding fashion with a modern top. Jennifer’s stunning bridal look was the perfect blend of old and new.

Before the ceremony, which took place at the Emory Conference Center Hotel, Jennifer and Jonathan did a memorable first look on the pedestrian bridge across Houston Mill Road, connecting the hotel to the Miller-Ward Alumni House. It was an ideal autumn afternoon for wedding photos.

Following a fun reception in the main ballroom with lots of dancing and silly photo booth fun and a magical sparkler send-off, the newly weds, along with several wedding guests, continued celebrating at Wisteria Lanes Bowling Alley.

Congratulations again, Jennifer and Jonathan.
